Mrs. Margaret Porch To All Instructors

Margaret has a bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and practiced for 5 years before being blessed with children. Although she does not have a biology degree, per se, she has a strong background in science and loves all things science as well as all those teenagers!  In addition to the strong science background that studying to be a physical therapist provided, she has also done a lot of independent study on creation versus evolution (to include materials from Answers in Genesis and other biblical creation resources) and holds to a literal 6-day Biblical creation world view.  Margaret has four children who were homeschooled through high school and currently has a high school foster teen in her home. She and her husband, Michael are also blessed with nine grandchildren, many of whom are involved in SCCHE activities and programs. Margaret has taught high school biology for the past 16 years at the Learning Center (since its beginning in 2006!). She has taught Advanced Biology (the Human Body) for the past 10 years or so and General
for approximately 6 years.
