Mrs. Katrina Oakes To All Instructors

Katrina Oakes graduated from VA Tech with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology (Educational Measurement and Research focused) and went on to complete her Masters in Human Relations from the Univ. of Oklahoma. Before her children were school aged she worked for Thomas Edison State University as an academic adviser and military education counselor in the U.S. and overseas. She has been homeschooling her three children for the past 10 yrs, across four different states, as her husband's Navy career has relocated them. She has 6 years of experience teaching grade school subjects in multiple homeschool groups. She is passionate about education and fostering a lifelong love of learning.
